There is going to be a two day filming/photo session at the park next week on April 3rd-4th (Thursday and Friday.) The exact time hasn't been decided on yet. It will be on all the major coasters (with the obvious exception of Thunder Road.) Riders are either needed for a whole day or at least a half a day. No "I can come out for a couple hours" type scenario please.

I will need to know ASAP. Send me an email to mcannon@carolina.rr.com letting me know if you can make it or if you have any questions. Post questions, etc here and I'll try to answer them.

Thanks!
Max

I'm sure you can probably sit it out if you really want to. Or you can take some of my Aleve.

ok next question...is there food? lol c'mon you know someone was thinking it so I just went ahead and asked!

But a more serious question...would we have to be there for both days. Thurs would be perfect for me since I work 1030p-7a and off on tues and wed so I wouldnt have to be to work until that night. Now fri would be difficult since I would have gotten off at 7 that morning.

Be sure and wear that outfit that you had on at the park on Saturday. I heard it was really outstanding. You'd probably show up in the pics really good.

No, you don't have to be there both days. I know I'll probably be there one day and not the other.

As for the food, I'll find out.

Max is like a regional ACE rep or something of another. When the parks needs minions...err I mean volunteers to endure hours on coasters without having to pay for extras they call on the folks who salivate at the thought of exclusive ride time especially when the park is close, so they can run to websites and post "I got to ride (insert coaster name) a gazillion times and the park wasn't even open to the public!"

And max I actually plan on wearing my brand new speedos but since the public spoke I will wear the ultra lime green and blinding outrageous orange one more time before retiring it!

Oh yeah one more thing...Im glad the park seems to be interested in showcasing its OWN rides instead of using stock photos/videos from other rides!

As soon as I get the times, I will post them. If you have any questions, please send them to this address: maxservo65@yahoo.com not the address in the original post. If you're going to be attending and want to RSVP, send that info to the RR address in the first post. I am leaving for Spring Fling in the am and the only net access that I'll have is on my cell. I can't access my RR mail on my phone so that's why if you if you have any questions, send it to my Yahoo addy.

Last I heard its going to be a definite YES to riding Hurler, Cyclone, Drop Zone, er Drop Tower, and AfterGun. Vortex and Borghawk are still possibilities for that day.

Here are the TENTATIVE times for Thursday's shoot:

You'll need to be there around 7:45am.

There will be a 8-1 shift followed by a 1-6 shift. If you want to stay all day, you're more than welcome to ride until your heart's delight. Lunch will be provided at 1pm.

Friday is still up in the air.

I should have the final details at the first of the week.

Now that I see it is in two shifts, we will do the 1-6 shoot. Me and my friend are a 100% yes for the Thursday 1:00 - 6:00 shift. Can you please confirm our RSVP? I would appreciate it.

Looking forward to finally meeting everyone!
