Yes, at carowinds... It would be nice you know, I was asking about at kaleidescope, but why not ask about the entire park?
We could use some more shade here and there.

Chances are no, Skytower's shade structure has been removed, and Frenzoid doesn't have one. Scrambler's line doesn't normally get long anyway, and isn't there trees not to far away. It isn't like it actually gets hot around here. Highest I have ever seen is 110, and that is rare. Even 100 is, there is a place for drinks next door, and they have water, and it is free, but I still say buy a coke!

I don't get why they can't have something simple, to cover you. Like Vortex has never had a cover and it used to be awful standing in that line in the summer.

Borg's cover is pathetic. It doesn't do much but slow down the UV rays a bit.

Er, I mean Nighthawk.

Or if we can't have cover, plants some trees for goodness sake.

I agree about Nighthawk and Vortex, but rides like Screamer, Yo Yo, Scrambler, etc. I don't believe them. Did they ever take the one outside of the Hurler station down?

The Hurler cover is still there I believe. The funny thing is that I think they replaced the cover for the Yo Yo's tarp queue cover. It looks brand new.

Which makes ya wonder why they couldn't have put something like that over Kaleidascope.

I know I'm whining, but it goes so well with cheese.

More shade overall would be a very nice thing to see at the park, plus it greatly improves the atmosphere. last year it would have greatly helped, seeing as the temperature inside the park hit 117 for a week strait.

Has anyone talked to Scott about whether the "big" plans are still a go?

Funny you mention that...I just approved those plans yesterday

Update!

My camera sort of died on me so I only have a couple pictures.
Once again, the sign has been changed. I still liked it on the building, but this is better than the printed sign.
Image

If you ever saw it last year, there was an icee cart over by FSS. Now they have converted one of the food locations into the same thing, just in an actual building.
Image

Some of the haunt theming is still in place in the RFD arcade
Image

You can now design your own T-shirts, including the only afterburn shirt in the park!
Image

No picture here, but the posts that held up the roof for kaleidescope are now flagposts.
Image

Drop tower now has a sign. Its exactly the same as the other drop towers (no surprise....)
While looking in the stores, I did find ONE nighthawk shirt. It was a white shirt with a small nighthawk logo on the top right side of the shirt. On the back it had another logo, and a mock-up of blueprint for the ride, along with stats. The only problem with the shirt is that the blueprints aren't for nighthawk... they would be for firehawk.

Thats it for now.

Because it is thier park, and their money...Once you put the money in the hands of the cashier, it is no longer yours and that person(or in this case, business) can do as they please with it. You give the money, they spend the money, that is the way it works. If you want some say in the decisions the parks make then buy ownership(stock) in the company, or something.

Yes they can vote, but it doesn't mean they have a say. Stockholders told Ken Thompson(Wachovia) he should resign, but that isn't happening either. Shareholders are interested in making as much money as they can. The more you spend and go into debt, the more your stock takes a hit and less money you make. Let CF have a chance to get a plan together and then execute the plan before bashing them about Carowinds.
