Just wanted to wish our webmaster Jon a safe trip that he is about to take starting this weekend. Not really going into detail where he is going but I am sure it will be an educational and fun coaster trip. He is even going to see some famous sites along the way along with riding a coaster or two. The you get back and start that brand new job.

Look forward to seeing the pics when you get back or I should say after you get back and start your new Job. Just remember to pinch it at the top now.

Have Fun!

Thanks Dave

There will be lots of education. Education in beer, whiskey, roller coasters, European women, beer, really old buildings, trains, mountains, and oh I almost forgot, beer.

I plan on (key word: PLAN) posting some updates to my website from time to time during the trip, and then of course when I get back there will be trip reports and whatnot.

For the curious, here's my schedule:

May 11 - Layover in Philadelphia (enough time for a cheesesteak) then flight to Paris
May 12 - Parc Asterix
May 13 - Belfast
May 14 - Belfast
May 15 - Brief stop in Dublin then flight to Munich
May 16 - Neuschwanstein Castle and Munich
May 17 - Munich and trains to Freiburg
May 18 - Europapark
May 19 - Bern
May 20 - Interlaken and the Alps
May 21 - Travel day to Florence with a stop in Venice
May 22 - Florence
May 23 - Florence and flight to Barcelona
May 24 - Port Aventura
May 25 - Barcelona and Tibidabo
May 26 - Barcelona
May 27 - Disneyland Paris
May 28 - Paris
May 29 - Afternoon flight home

  :D

No, I actually like to do things that *don't* involve roller coasters while I'm in other countries. In fact, I will actually see the cities, rather than just the airports and theme parks.

Have a great time Jonathan. Enjoy those old cities as they are truly awesome. On both my trips to Germany I could only scratch the surface of the history there. Bamberg was celebrating 1000 years while on my second trip. Wow, 1000 years and stuff still standing!!
I'm sure you will also enjoy Europa. I was there for the Halloween events and it was pretty cool and decorated to the hilt.
Oh, be aware when watching TV or seeing advertisements...they are NOT politicaly correct as we are in the States.
Be safe and enjoy!!
