Johnathan, think about it. Any "new" coaster will make the GP go crazy I mean Nighthawk sucks but the line is rediculous almost every time I go. Even with 2 trains.

But how long does it take to unload and load those 2 trains...a pretty long time compared the the other coasters. So by the coaster having a long line isnt saying much about the popularity of the coaster.

Exactly! I mean the park will feel that its cool to feed the guest hamburger patties and not go out and spend the extra bucks to serve up the steak!

The point is all we get is low capacity, be that from the design of the ride or the crew operating the ride, or a recycled ride, or a mix of both. I'm tired of spending my hard earned money to get somebody's elses crap. Don't throw down on me either, I've ridden my fair share of boomerangs: SFKK, KI, and SFOG. Damn, that's the whole Vekoma family of boomerangs, they suck. Of all the Face-Off style at KI was the best, but the wait is not worth it. Sorry guys I think CP screwed us again.

JamminJ, Maryland is south of the Mason-Dixon line, and SFA just HAPPENS to be in Maryland. And on top of it all, SFA is in SOUTHERN Maryland. So yes SFA would be in the south. It's south of US 50. Missed Social Studies class in 8th grade have we?

I was going to completely ignore this, till I read the personal attack. I always enjoy my intelligence being questioned by an anonymous forum poster. Why don't you fill out your profile information and become accountable for your posts? FYI my 8th grade social studies teacher was one of my favorite teachers throughout my entire education. Also I won my school's Geography Bee in 7th and 8th grade, and I can cut out the newspaper articles to prove it.



When was the last time the Mason-Dixon line was relevant? 100 years ago? But the point is while it might be 'south' to New York, Boston, and Pennsylvania, no one from the actual south (NC, SC, GA, TN, AL, MS, FL) would consider Maryland, Washington D.C., or Baltimore the south by any stretch of the imagination.

There is 11 Southern States that are part of the South:
South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Texas, Virginia, Arkansas, North Carolina, Tennessee And Florida. All 11 states seceded from the US during the Civil War. Kentucky, Missouri, Maryland did not seced. Also, West Virginia was formed during/after the Civil War because Va. seceded.

Back to the topic at hand, I've had mixed experiences with the old boomerangs. The one at Six Flags New England was a little rough, but nothing too bad. The best one in my experience was Sidewinder at Hersheypark. It was extremely smooth, had great speed, and never had a line. I was able to do many a re-ride on it without getting a concussion or anything, haha. Then again, it is one of the newer ones, being from '91.

the boomer at SFFT wasn't too bad. I've heard it has newer trains though.

I did not go to the park this year at all. I will not be returning in '09. I can pay 10 bucks at some boardwalk to ride whatever sh*t they're putting in. FSS is, or was, a much better coaster.
