Bet ya that ten dollars that you will return in 2009. Park guests will say they will never return, but they always do. No matter how their experince is.

No idea, but I'm sure it will get a new paint job of some sort.

I was just thinking, I wonder if we may possibly get the new Vekoma boomerang trains with the relocated coaster? I think it would be a nice update on the old ride, and would at least be pretty unique. I haven't seen many (if at all?) boomerangs with these trains yet, but I think they look pretty nice.

I doubt it, a new train could cost anywhere from 50,000 dollars to 200,000 or more. I doubt Carowinds would be interested in that unless the current ones need more work than a new one would cost. We aren't talking about KI, Carowinds has a tighter budget. By the way, does anyone find it funny that Yo Yo and Head Spin were once next to each other?

Coming soon to a theme park near you!!!

It's funny how if their old sky tower was taller, that would look exactly like Carowinds.

Although in the wrong place.

Don't bet on it. If they didn't for Thunderhawk at Michigan's Adventure, why would they for this one?

Was catching up on the thread today and came across this reply and all I could say was can you murder the Queen's English abit more since it looks like you have it on Life Support. You might want to look at installing a spell checker to help aid you in posting or call the railroad authorities to report this train wreck. A great program is IESPELL and it wil atleast aid you in proper spelling.

But my friend it makes it alot easier to read and comprehend instead of something from a Saw flick. Plus it makes you seem abit more refined and not having diarrhea of the mouth. Was just giving you some friendly advice is all.

And why does it matter? Isnt it a carowinds thread, not a spelling thread?

I need to go back and update the TOS as they didn't carry over during the board update, but an attempt to use proper spelling and grammar is expected from all users here. Not to mention it's something you should consider anyway if you ever want anyone to take anything you ever say seriously. If anyone is like me, they just skip over posts like that.

No one seems to have an answer yet on Satty. Is she going bye-bye for good or is she possibly being re-located inside the park? I never understood why a "water" coaster was placed there instead of inside the water park. There is a need to keep the Coleman Tent Bikinis behind fences.

As far as the Boomer coming I'll like it a lot more than Satty. At least I will ride it unlike Satty. And yes, I have ridden several Boomers out there and I put them in the category of novelty. You do them once and a while. It will take a little getting used to walking by Wings and seeing a coaster instead of the Carolina pride walking back and forth from the water park. That's a visual I'd rather keep in the water park thank you.

The GP won't care and will probably be pretty darn happy with another coaster. As for me, although I'd rather have the Face-Off type, I just keep adding up the coaster types and amount.

Ok, I have a question you pros can answer since some of you have riden the ride. Looking at the pic of the ride in previous location, this is the same ride as Deja Vu except without the 90 degree towers? And how does this one start you out, pull you back like Deja Vu or launch you sort of like White Lightning did??
I hope they move Satie into the water park somewhere, it could gain some riders there as people are wet already and they aren't getting their clothes wet and walking around a little uncomfortable.
As for the new ride, Deja Vu was cool because of the 90 degree towers. I dont' see this one being as thrilling as that was. But it is a new ride, albeit slow moving lines I can see. I give this move a 4 out of 10, and I don't put myself in the Coaster Addict category some of you all are. Let's hope something bigger is in the works. If this one goes down like Deja Vu, I'll make this a 2 out of 10 addition. Thanks anyway for the new/old coaster.
