I'm curious to hear the ENTIRE story - i.e. what the police say after they investigate.

Knowing the way the media over-reacts and under-investigates most stories, plus how they love hyping anything with a potential child molester angle, I wouldn't be too surprised if a lot of this turns out to be quite exaggerated. Some of it is quite fishy to me - the guy spent 2 hours trying to get security to do something, just "happened" to notice the other guy leaving, confronted him and then assaulted him?

Maybe some innocent guy out with his family got falsely accused and then assaulted by a redneck, and the park didn't do anything wrong. Maybe it went down as reported. I'd wait for some more details before condemning anyone here....

I don't see why anyone would be fired, the police don't even take these kinds of things seriously most of the time. Example: Mooning Amtrak, adults in my area find that to be acceptable, I think it is gross.

My opinion on the incident at Carowinds is that people need to keep their eyes to themselves and not worry what other guests are doing. While, it does upset me that security didn't do anything. It doesn't surprise me, the only thing they can do, is escort guests out the park, ban them for a season to life or call the police.
