2008-13=1995, so I would say he was in the womb. 
Hurler was no smoother in 1994, I rode it the first summer it was open. Hurler was so forceful that I couldn't sit down, and coming out of the first turn there was a sudden jerk to the left. Me and my mother waited throught the whole queue line including the overflow que. In fact, Hurler has tamed down since 1994, and I am glad for that. The only thing I feel that would help old Hurler is Intamin pre-fab track.
