I didn't say "don't support Carowinds". I said that I thought (in so many words) they could have made a better choice.

I still think 2010 (or now 2011) will bring a major ride to the park.

They had to get ride of all the stuff from Geauga Lake, and that takes/took time and you can't just disseminate all that stuff in one season.

^ I know...joking. But it seems like we say this every year, next year will be the year. I just wish that year would F'n come already! I am not able to travel much, just my two weeks of vacation and that is spent at the beach. I depend on Carowinds and now HRP for my thrill seeking. Not too good of thrills either way, but I don't have the chance to travel to better parks...so it works.

How much money would they have received if the boomerang was scrapped? Cedar Fair could have taken that money and the money they spent on a new train and relocation and built a brand spankin' new exclusive to Carowinds wooden coaster.

Stop trying to use common-sense here.

LOL!!! Yeah, common sense is only used at the other Cedar Fair parks...except for GA!!! But mainly, Bush parks and Disney only use common sense for that matter!

I'm really late on this, but I'm not against a new coaster.

At least it's something cool.

Not sure if I'll be able to go next year and ride it though. Still have pretty much no income. If I manage to get the money (And a ride) then I'll try to go. Haven't been in over 4 years.
The new harness is a newer version of the "Horse Collar" if you will. The tops of the restraints will curve to the shoulders if tall or stay straight for younger/skinny riders. For us real men and women, the shoulder will bend to fit comfortably to our shoulders deminsions and chest areas! The harness itself is slimer and wider to fit riders better and offer more room over the previous crampt trains used on cyclone. Take a look at the picture and zoom in on it to see the big guy's harness vs. the little boy's harness!

Thats good. I'm skinny, mine would probably stay straight, but my dad isn't exactly small, so thats nice that he wont be crammed in like on every other ride.
