I would also assume that some gaps are left intentionally so the whole thing doesn't come down if there's a mishap in construction. Kind of like leaving gaps in a dominoes knockdown as it's being constructed.

Looks like they are starting to finish the loop now that that half of the cobra roll is complete. Started on the other half of the roll as well, I expect the track would be complete by the end of day on Friday. They can put these things up quick!

LOL, yeah. It gets hard to see in the afternoon because of shadows or something, could be where the sun is. But I have had it up checking in on it, it is really amazing how quick it goes together. Within an hour or so they put the final support to the loop and 2 pieces to finish the loop. The engineering that goes into building coasters is quite big. My luck I would get to that last piece and find out I poured a footer a couple feet short.

Also, does anyone know how visable the lift hills are from the interstate, i hope carowinds has a new adition to the sky line.

You can see the top of the lifts from I-77. Nothing dramatic, but they do poke up a little bit, in the near vicinity of the Skytower.

This might be a crazy question, but when they normally put the trains on the tracks, most coasters have a transfer tracks to do this. Cobra has no transfer track, so how will they get the trains on the "actual" track???

Track is not really complete. A section of track leaving the station is left out to put the train on car by car then connected. You can't see this because a tree is blocking the area leaving the station.

Well why don't we just change the name of the park from Carowinds to Recycled-ride-o-winds? Sorry guys and gals I've had enough. Why would Cedar Fair, with prime competition with in four hours east and west, give us another recycled ride and give KI a new monster coaster? I guess they are afraid of big ol' SFKK. Sorry, I've purchased my last season pass until they figure out we won't pay our hard earned money for somebody's used s***!

Don't get me wrong, I'm glad they invested the money to save T-road. Hell I'm going to the park this weekend just for it. But I'm done otherwise.

When you only look to the next year ahead its easy to lose focus. Think of the future here. The best thing to ever happen for Carowinds was the CF purchase. Think LONG TERM here and stop complaining.

...you do know that Carowinds management makes the future ride plans, not CF, right? Of course CF o.k.'s the plans, but they do not choose our rides for us.
