Hi Carowinds fans!

I have recently been introduced to carowindsconnection and wanted to say how great it is to see such an active site regarding our park. Thank you, Jonathan, for keeping this thing alive!
As a few of you know, I am the new PR Manager at Carowinds since the very tail end of July and am personally new to NC/SC altogether. I worked at KD for 8 years and genuinely have a love for this industry and I am so excited to get to know all of you at upcoming events...beyond your usernames!
I will most likely not be submitting very many posts on this site, but I thought this would be a great way to find out what YOU want out of the Coaster Stock event coming on July 24. I've got some major things planned for this event, and, although I know it may be very hot, I hope I can get your minds off of the heat and onto the cool events planned for the day.

HI Dani! Thank you so much for keeping us in mind. I sent you an email earlier this week (I'm Miles) and am excited to see you again, but this time around Carowinds instead of KD! Smaller park...you should be easier to spot!

Haha! I think Scott was gone a couple of months before I came in...so I got no warning
A few coworkers told me about it, and I believe Max and/or Wes mentioned it at C3. C3 wasn't exactly a event-packed day, so we'll have to work to make it THE Mid-atlantic/southeast ACE trip of the year for 2009! So I am up for suggestions is the C3 category too.

BE WARNED: Coaster Stock is not designed to replace C3 in any way, shape, or form. Both events should be spectacular (and trust me...this isnt just PR jargon, my enthusiastic friends )

Welcome to our fan Connection! I've already corresponded with you and filled out the survey. I'm just so pleased we have someone who is enthusiastic in this position and that you are letting us contribute. I'm almost sorry I didn't renew my season pass while it was cheaper to do so. Being less-than-pleased with the Cobra relocation, I had thought it would be just another year of not much going on... the Coaster Stock event will at least "real me in" and my oldest for the day, though, and hopefully, by that date, construction of our new hyper will be underway. Great to have you on board with us!

We DO have the deferred pass special online right now. Buy now and you dont pay until March 1! (Great Christmas present! But I may be a bit partial!)

Please continue to to feed me your suggestions. One thing I would like to see is a spring Thrillfest of some nature before it gets really hot. I did one with the Coaster Zombies at KD every spring and the weather was just perfect for a special event like theres.

Hi Dani!!!

I do not know you, but from what I have read, you are just what we needed at the park. I have high hopes that Carowinds will begin to grow again and add not only rides (thats what we want), but events like coaster stock to give us that extra "BAM" in the park. I look forward to your changes and thanks again for talking to us and accepting our feedback and ideas. Your already getting 5 stars from me! Good luck and congrats!

I too think that there should be something in the waterpark. Perhaps 30 minutes Waterpark ERT before the rest of the guests?

My only major suggestion on here (I've sent you my questionnaire) is one thing that personally bugs me, but it isn't major...Make it Coasterstock or CoasterStock without the space.
