Carowinds will be filming commercials for the 2004 season on Top Gun and Hurler Monday, Nov. 3 between 9am-noon. Anyone interested may want to call the PR Dept. They still need more riders.

Why in the world are they shooting a commercial on Monday when most teens are in school. We are the target age for that park anyways.

I sent out an e-mail to the local ACE members about this shoot that were at the media announcement. If anybody wants to go, contact me at mcannon@aceonline.org.

The park doesn't need that many people for the shoot, only about 16. Why is on a Monday? Its the park's choosing. A photo shoot is different monster all together and you really don't need a lot of people there.

Well, how did the shoot go?

The shoot was for Scarowinds next year. It was mainly pictures of some of the Scaracters riding the Hurler. There was what appeared to be pictures of another Scaracter with Top Gun in the background. We really couldn't see much since we were all on TG. It wasn't a commercial shoot like originally posted.

There was a lot of moving around and changing seats for the pictures. It wasn't just an ERT session like some people might think it might be. Sure you get to ride over and over but there's some "work" <g> involved in it.

It was a fun but exhausting morning. About 18 rides on the Hurler and close to a dozen on TG. Sure made up for Saturday night at Scarowinds.
