It sounds like it may be some locals that got together and bought it, but they are pretty vague in the article.

I'm glad that someone is wanting to save it though, I liked the park a lot.

Wow, for the price of a Hyper they are going to get a whole park!
Coaster Bruh, are you the one buying it? You seemed to pass up on Satie, now you go out and buy a whole park for pennies on the dollar.
Seriously, this is a great business move. If they can't make anything out of it in a couple years, they can get more than 25mil for the rides and such as long as they keep them in good working order. Hopefully they can turn the park into something profitable.

It will be interesting to see what happens, if it passes in regard to all the money they owed for rides and such, that they still haven't paid for.

If the Judge gives this a green light then the park will be sold to this company. The dedt that was racked up under the Hard Rock Park name will not come with it. The dedt will stay with the former company till it is discharged by the courts.

That's pretty huge. Seems like a steal to be able to acquire all those assets for such a small price without any of the debt.

I'm suprised Cedar Fair didn't attempt to acquire the park. Would have been a great business move in terms of knocking out any chance of competition within their market. It also would have greatly expanded their market as Myrtle Beach is technically a national market, since so many people vacation there.

I love how they say Carolina Cobra is an investment, lol. They already owned it. I didn't realize Cedar Fair was in that much debt. Maybe they should be asking the government for a bailout...jk, but I wouldn't be surprised if they did, lol.

It is still an investment, it costs to take down a coaster, move it, reassemble, paint, etc. Any major expense can be an investment.

So i read on screamscape the new owners plan to make the park free, and just charge you to ride the rides like the pavalion used to be. I wonder how much they are gonna charge to park your car??? And how much to ride LZ? Or better yet the wrist band to ride everything $50?

Wow that would be a steal!!!

It's a steal to ride everything for $50?? What is the difference in that or charging $50 to enter the park with free rides? Still too much. Anything more than $35 is too much at this time.
