^ Which is odd, since so many of the enthusiasts up there screamed bloody murder when they were removed and said it was their favorite ride in the park. I guess it just wasn't that popular with the GP.
At first I was a bit leery of Carowinds' placement of it, in the kiddie section. Of course at first I assumed there wouldn't be any snapping on the ride, which hasn't turned out to be the case. Then I worried that it would be too scary for the kids and / or their parents. I see a few people leave the line after seeing a good "flying demonstration" but not that many. I always try to tell any of the parents around while I'm line and they're commenting on the ride looking scary that they only do that if you try, and that it can be a nice, tame ride if that's what you want. Of course the kids are usually asking me how to get it to go so high.
