Construction on TCFKAS (The Coaster Formerly Known as Stealth) is moving right along full steam. We got a glimpse of the site and they're still in the process of pouring footers. Vertical construction should start in a few weeks. The park won't be doing a webcam. Instead, they're opting to do construction updates on the website. Don't know when they'll start doing this so keep an eye out for them. Right now, its still a lot of dirt over there and nothing really exciting to see.

As for the name, the discussion of it is still going on. There's no timeframe for the announcement of the name. Somebody said Kitty Hawk Flyer sounds cool

There will be more general improvements made to the park but nothing was specifically named.

The park is really excited about next year. I think we're in for a real treat.

Great, I am all for general improvements - Drop Zone looks great. As for the name, it will be from a Paramount Movie so I wouldn't really expect Kitty Hawk...

I had wished for a Web Cam like Cedar Point but I guess regular updates will be fine.
As far as them being excited about next year they should be. With the change of a couple staff members and thier acknowledgment that the park and it's employees have gone downhill so to say I am also excited about next year. At least with a fresh coat of paint on Drop Zone so early I think we can at least to forward to a great new to us coaster and some fresh scenery.

Well a Top Spin is a lot more than general park improvements but I agree, it would be nice to have more flat rides. I am thinking next year we will see new paint, new - cleaner - nicer landscaping, and who knows what else but I am looking foward to next year. B)

i really really hope they put in a TopSpin,or a ZIPPER! zippers are very exiting,or put in a ring of fire(roller coaster that is just a humongeous loop)those are pretty cool,has anybody else ridden a zipper or ring of fire?? if not then you should find one they are so cool!

im with you on the zipper!!! man those are my fav flat ride you get negative g's positive g's!! all other flat ride kinda give me a bad feeling (like scream weaver and rides like gravitron). they get my borderline sick. but the zipper never does!!! Lately i only see them at carnivals and fairs. is there a theme park that has one??

Does any major park have a zipper? I thought those were primarly carnival/fair rides.

Both of these rides are insanely fun, but you have to have a pretty strong belly for either of them. You've never expierence a true Carnival Ride if you have never rode either.

However, I agree that neither would fit in with an amusement park that well. The only Zipper I know of in an amusement park is at Lake Compounce, and I know of no Ring of Fires at theme parks.

i coulden't get the ring of fire thing to work( i can just put the pic in my head iv'e ridden it!) and yeah zippers are priamarily fair/carnival rides,so find one near you!


the top three flat rides IMO(in my opinion)
1.zipper!
2.ring of fire
3.Drop Zone if it is considered a flat ride but if not U.F.O


P.S. what's scream weaver? iv'e heard of it and probably seen it but didn't know it,is it one of those enterprise rides?
