General Carowinds discussion

A stunt show with all that stuff would also be cool. If they changed the script around a bit every few days, I'd go every time I went to Carowinds.

I loved that comedy western show they had until they put in the Carolina Boardwalk. It was so funny!

We also need "Slime Time Live," or are we getting it next year?

I never had the chance to ride Days of Thunder during the time it was in the Paramount Theatre I was worried about it hurting my sensitive ears. I would ride it today if I had the chance.

Days of Thunder was in the Action FX theatre or whatever the name for it is. Don't worry, you didn't miss much. Unless you were riding that day when it got real quiet, the seats jerked back, and I let a very very bad word fly in the silence. My friend to this day still doesn't let me live that down.

I am weary of these portable simulators because I rode the one at Discovery Place and the Motions didn't match the screen, the screen was too dark, the screen was scratched, and I didn't see much anyway because of the people's heads sitting in front of me. I will not do a simulator unless it is a theater (like carowinds).

Did I say Paramount Theatre? I meant that the Action F/X theatre. Silly Me!

Anyways, regarding the Action F/X Theatre I'd have to say that James Bond was my favorite movie there, Spongebob was ok, but I don't think the moving seats were necessary, the Alvira movie during Scarowinds is just stupid, 7th Portal was also ok, but I disliked the 3D skulls flying at you, all other secondary movies not mentioned here were just stupid.
