The Discovery Channel is going to do a documentary on carowinds with the Borg, Top Gun and all the other rides this march. This is very exciting news. I always wanted a documentary on carowinds on tv. I hoping for Discovery or travel channels do one. Check outRumors and News to see more info.

this is cool,i too was hoping that someday they might do somthing on carowinds.

i just came up with a name that would have been cool to use for BORG, Matrix:The Ride (too bad it isn't a paramount movie)

speaking of discovery channel, anybody else miss that show called Thrills, chills, and spills?

This is great news, our park could use some recognition.

I do recall seeing Top Gun on one of those other documentary type stuff you see on Discovery and Travel Channel.

Yeah, I remember that. I think it was a Coaster Countdown or something. I thought it was so cool to see Carowinds make Cable Television.

For those interested...

There is going to be a story in the New York Times about BorgAss. I don't know if it was last weekend or this coming weekend (might be next.) I've never been to the NYT website so if you've got time, check it out and see if you can find it on there.

Also, park representatives are going to be attending EastCoaster this weekend and are going to heavily push BorgAss (and C3.)

Nice to see the coaster getting some recognition.

thrills chills and spills was a really cool coaster show, they did on ride videos alot, and once, the cameraman dropped the camera on the coaster, and the train ran over it!

supposivly my brother saw thunder road on the top ten list in like 97,so if that's true then it won't be the first time.

Do not believe everything you read on the internet.

Maybe you should scroll up to a certain post and reread it again.

And, now they recognize we have a GREAT invert.

I'm looking foward to Carowinds finally getting some TV time. Hopefully it will get some more money for the park, and increase attendance.

And more attendance would mean new rides more frequently...right? I sure hope so.

Its funny because Carowinds Zone obviously got it from the post on Thrill Network. And that post has got it all wrong too. (That doesn't surprise me.) Shouldn't Thrill Network be called Troll Network :)

When I need to laugh, I go to ThrillNetwork. Coasterbuzz is superior, mainly because they have much more mature members. ;)

I'm a normal member of TN. I enjoy it, and it's not half as bad as most of those forums out there. It's just the stupid freaks, namely someone who is pyscho for carowinds, that make the one thread about Carowinds on that site dumb. But I realize it's not just the one you are talking about.

Closing this topic. This is not news, and the person who wrote that on that website has no "spies." Good to hear that Carowinds reps will be attending EastCoaster though!
