some of you were talking about the nick theme going next year, and at the park on suday they were having a yard sale on some old cups and stuff, maby nick stuff. This could mean they are trying to get ride of some stuff.

Why do you doubt it? It was publicly stated when Cedar Fair took over that they were undecided what to do with the Nickelodeon licensing. It will cost a significant amount of money to keep it, whereas they already have the Snoopy license (for what I assume is a lot less money) and use it in other parks.

I think keeping the Nick area is a good idea. Nickelodeon is the most popular under Disney and its helped the park actually grow by bringing in more families and them families keep coming back!

I don't doubt it as much as I can't imagine there are that many ways to name a ride after a peanuts character.

Snoopy's Bi-planes - fine for Tommy's Take Off
Woodstock's Flight - maybe for the Taxi Chase
Wah Waaah Waa Car Trip - For TV Road trip we could listen to the nagging waahs of adults on the radio
Pig pen's Revenge - Flying Dutchman's Revenge with added smoke effects
Peppermint Patties Air Time
Charlie Brown Choo choo with a visit to the Kite Eating Tree
Lucy's Runaway Rampage

I don't know...

You may be right, I just can't see Carowinds, or any of the other former Paramount parks for that matter, stripping themselves of the Nick themeing.... it makes Carowinds what it is in a way and it's been there since 1993. I think it would be a big loss for the "families with small children" visiting population because Nickelodeon has become a MUCH larger icon with children these days, rather than Peanuts/Snoopy.....

I'm pretty sure only the former Paramount Parks have Nick, everything else in Cedar Fair is Snoopy theme. My teenage kids pointed out that all the shows that have artwork on he restaurant building near spongebob fountain are all cancelled except for two of them. Perhaps Nick is aging the way Hanna Barbera aged and they had to upgrade to stay relevant. I don't see Snoopy theme as more "hip" or relevant, only perhaps more nostalgic for parents. More "cute" maybe? For me I'd rather have the Peanuts gang
