me and my family live in central NC, exactly halfway between both parks, i'm happy for them both to get new coasters. We bought platinum passes to do both but Top Gun is my favorite among both parks, with Volcano being 2nd. I guess there's a chance the track at KD could mean that Kings Dominion is getting a Runaway Reptar to "catch up" to Carowinds? LOL. Really, I hope they are both big and something unusual. Maybe we'll see Big Bad Wolf show up as a recycled ride from Busch Gardens Williamsburg when it leaves over the winter? Nah...

I know several people here have ridden Diamondback, but anyone ridden Behemoth yet? If so, how does it compare to Diamondback and other B&M hypers on the East coast?


EDIT: UPDATE

Take this for what you will, but over at KDfansite.com the supports that were unloaded are now being loaded back onto the trucks. One rumor floating around there (and boy, is it a rumor if I've ever heard one!) is that a park employee said the wrong pieces were delivered to KD and those yellow supports were supposed to go to Carowinds. I don't know how much of that I actually believe, but the fact that they unloaded and then reloaded several supports seems like an aweful waste of time and money.

I dont know offically what hes doing but word on the street is the supports were supposed to go to carowinds there are aparently other cedar fair officals, and land clearing for kd has increased heavly
