First off please correct your spelling and grammar. Terms like 'u' and 'y' will NOT be tolerated on this site.

Secondly the only way to overcome your fear is just to ride them. Start with smaller things and just work your way up.

I remember coming up through the proverbial coaster ranks, I started with Scooby Doo then Goldrusher. Worked my way up to Cyclone then Vortex and finally Top Gun. Now-a-days you have more mid-level coasters like Rugrats Runaway Reptar and Ricochet and to a certain extent Carolina Cobra which I feel is very tame but some less-experienced people may get very dizzy from it. Most importantly do only what YOU are comfortable with. The only person that can decide this is you.

I know a doctor by the name of mary agana. She specializes in fear therapy...all her patients seem to be cured since we never hear from them again...ever....last I heard she was at universal studios orlando but that was last year. Who knows where she is now...

...Uhhh? Is that a joke?

Anyways, if you're having chest pains, you should probably get your heart checked by a doctor before getting on the more intense rides... But when you feel you are ready, just tell yourself "I can do this" and force one foot in front of the other to get in line. Trust me, you'll love it as soon as you go down the first drop. And don't worry, HUGE rides at other parks still freak me out a little bit, but I still force myself on them and always have a great time, so you aren't the only one!

I have got in line for top gun and vortex but always backout because I'm afraid im gona have another panic attact or shoot even my heart stop but the thing is I dont think i have a heart problem because i have had an e.k.g done before but my doc say's my pain comes from panic attacts. Has anybody ever got killed from geting on rides due to health issues's?

hey, dont worry i think most coaster lovers were like that at one time. i know i was for a while and one day i just forced myself on thunder road, and by the end of the day i had been on all the coasters in the park. :)

Not necessarily on all the Carowinds rides. The only Carowinds accident I can think of is employees falling out of Nighthawk... But yes, people have dropped dead on rides from heart attacks and strokes; but 99.9% of the time, its from a pre-existing or congenital heart condition such as: Wolfe-Parkinson-White Syndrome or Prolonged QT Syndrome.

No, when they were testing it with some employees the operator accidentally unlocked the seats from being in laying form to sitting. The train slowed down and the employees had minor injury's. Later they prevented the operator from unlocking the seats out side the station or something by fixing the control panel.

True statistic...

You are 100 million times more likely to die on the way to the amusement park then once you step foot inside the park.
