Favorite RIDE or favorite coaster..?

hmm... Maybe I should have put the flyers as an option. oh well.i see Afterburn got most of the votes My favorite is Thunder Road I think. I still like all the rides there but i think I'm getting bored of some of them after riding them alot.

Actually Mind Bender at SFOG was my first coaster that really made me fall in love with coasters. And I was a teenager.

I was actually scared of Scooby Doo as a kid.

Not the most original answer, but here goes:

Coaster: Afterburn
non-coaster: Flyers

Rarely visit the park without riding both. Have visited the park and ridden only these two rides on more than one occasion.

Goldrusher was indeed my first coaster. Afterburn, though, was the one that pushed me over the edge, becoming a coaster enthusiast.

I actually like your style alot, two VERY underrated rides. If Goldrusher ever leaves the spirit of Carowinds is truly gone.

Goldrusher for a coaster.....It was the closet to a Knott's like ride at Carowinds.
The CCRR Railroad because I must have rode 10,00 miles on it and have so many positive memories it overrides all others. Not to sound like a old man....but the park as a whole in 1975 has great...as small and simple as it was!

Amen brother! So far, Cedar Point has kept their Mine Train, which hopefully translates into Carowinds keeping theirs....

I agree with some others, you have to include Phantom Flyers as one of the best rides in the park. It is awesome. I can see why the Cinci crowd was not happy at it leaving.
