I have noticed that Carowinds only has only announced one show for 2009. That show is the kid she, Marty's Party. I wonder if there is any other show coming in 2009. All the other cedar fair parks have posted all of their shows and they all have a pretty good line up. For example, Kings Island has 4 other shows coming and Carowinds needs some of them. Does anyone know if there are more shows coming on 2009 or is this the only one?

The ice show is returning as well as Meet The Nicktoons. Thats about it

It started raining today right about the time the ice show was starting, so I decided to watch the show. The skaters were pretty decent and on a hot day this would be a great way to get out of the heat for a little while. Here are some pictures from the show.
They had a featured male, featured female & featured couple skaters as well as quite a few other backup skaters.

Gee, remember the days when the shows were first rate and attracted large crowds... Midway Music Hall (Hooray for Hollywood), Sound Circus (Singin' to the World), Bird show, Harmony Hall, Scooby Doo...

First rate entertainment to help attract multi-generational families (and they would all attend together.).

In large form, I think the end of the park's live entertainment department came when they converted Harmony Hall to the Scooby dark ride. After that shows have just been sporadic.
