Yes, there is a thread about what would we prefer, however...

Due to the uproar in the debate over which company is doing the coaster I decided to do this poll to get what an idea of who people really think are behind this project. And lets dont just vote but give a reason as to why you whole-heartly feel that way...

Lets start placing those bets and have fun!

Mod Edit: Tweaked the choices slightly.

Name: Not White Lightning or Intimdator
Height: 235-240
Speed: 77-79
Length: Over 5000
No splashdown, MCBR into Helix
Red Track, ?Blue Supports?

The main reason why I believe that it will be a B&M is the footer markings in the parking lot. The setup of the code (C19L=Column #19 Left) is consistent with the code found on Vortex which is a B&M. This does not strike me as something that different companies would use to mark the layout to the letter.

As Wes pointed out yesterday, the codes found in the lot match what is glued onto Vortex's supports. Afterburn doesn't have these codes attached.

Just a comparison of a Vekoma footer. Nighthawk's says something like "F20A", like Footer 20 A.

B&M most likely.... 8) Everything seems to match up, Could they be messing with us.. maybe, but I doubt it...

If my memory serves me right.... I read in some journal a couple years back, didnt CF enter a contract with B&M for 3 coasters starting with Behemoth???? If I'm right only 2 have been delivered, correct???? You know how it is only believing ___% of what you read... I thought this happened shortly they took over from Paramount..

I could be wrong, which I usually am...

I also seem to think the layout will have a "new element" somewhere on the track.. I missed viewing those plans literally by 5 minutes back in Jan...

We'll find out soon enough, and we'll be happy with whatever "The powers that be" give us... :D

Great start by Jarvis but I want to take it a step further, and hear the predictions from everyone. Use this thread to guess all things that may be possible with this new ride, including name, manufacturer, height, length, speed etc.

Anyway based on everything I have seen so far, I am hoping for a near-Behemoth clone with no watersplash. Anything 'extra' would be gravy IMO.

Name: White Lighting (Got this from a rumor)
Manufacturer: B&M (this is becoming obvious)
Type: HyperCoaster ( this is also becoming obvious)
Height: 230ft. (like Diamondback and Behemoth)
Length: 4856ft. (if B&M does manufacture it, the ride will be somewhere in this area as the is the average length of B&M HyperCoaster) Got it by adding them all up then dividing by 9
speed: 77 m.p.h( just a guess)

B&M, hyper coaster, new trains like Diamondback and Behemoth. 230 feet tall, 77 MPH (just like Behemoth, diamondback only goes faster because it drops into the ravine). Layout similar to Silver Star, however with the MCBR coming out of a helix like Diamondback. I'm guessing no splashdown right now based on the fact that there hasn't been any obvious work in a splashdown. Diamondback's was finished by this time last year, prior to the announcement. Ready to ride opening day of the park. Colors: red track and most likely yellow and tan supports (like diamondback or pretty much every other steel coaster built by cf recently), although I'd like to see dark blue supports like Sheikra.

Name: The Intimidator
Manufacturer: B&M
Type: Hyper...because...I said so. and a lot of evidence points towards it being a hyper!
Height: 240-260 feet
Length: 5000 feet
Speed: 83 mph.
Splashdown(?): I personally (though I really want it) don't think we will be getting the splashdown. Lack of room, mainly.

Height : 230 feet ( possibly Higher )
No water splash ( all though I really wanted one. There cool to watch and make great pics )
Hopefully some sort of new element that the others don't have.
From what I've been told, the ride will be big. So I say around 5000 feet long.
Color : Red track. Yellow supports. but I could be wrong

Exactly. The same code combination is found on the supports for Behemoth and from markings photographed from Goliath's construction. It's a B&M, no question.

Here is my three cents worth.

Manufacturer: B&M, rather obvious to me.
Length: Since it appears clearer than ever we will get no splashdown, no 'spaghetti' bowl or no 'under bridge' action, I have toned mine down a bit to 4850.' This is largely based on using the path ruler on Google Earth.
Height: 235'
Speed: 78 mph
I look for a drop to the right with some hills then a 'Nitro' like turnaround at the south entrance. On the way back a helix outside the park just east of the drop which will bring it into a bunny hop or two then another helix to the right, into that grassy area then back into the brake run. I had an idea that the first drop might be straight then the turn to the right would be on the drop of the second hill (just like Nitro in reverse) This might account for the bulge in the fence which I think many of us assume will be a helix on the return. Not for sure if there is enough distance though. I have not done the calculations of the lift hill angle, height, distance and so forth. If this is the case, the assumed helix would not be until later in the ride, where the grassy area is behind the season pass processing area.

Colors: Red Track, Blue and White Supports
Name: The Patriot, or something American.

It would go along with the Skytower since these will both be the 2 skyline rides.

This is just a guess, I'm probably way off.

Manufactuerer/Type: B&M Hyper
Height: 240-250ft.
Length: Somewhere around 5800 ft.
Angle of Descent: 84-86 degrees
Speed: 82mph

Tallest, Longest, All-around largest coaster ever built by B&M.
