I would have to agree with the nascar theme! The colors scream NASCAR!! With it saying record breaking and History making leads me to believe that it may have been launched! I guess only time will tell!

There is no if for this banner was hanging where the gang ate in Picnic Area #2. Also they played a short vid during lunch that showed a racing flag along with sounds of cars racing by.

No one has mentioned yet that 37 years is how long the park will have been opened as of next year. Just thought I'd point that out.

For those who don't know, the NASCAR Hall of Fame is being built in Charlotte and will be opening May 11, 2010. http://www.nascarhall.com/

The perfect tie in for the Charlotte area to see both of these in a trip.

My personal thought is that it will be the tallest, fastest and/or longest roller coaster in the South. Possibly all 3.

I think all that is needed to do this would be:

Speed: 86 mph
Height: 256 feet
Length: 5313 feet

It wouldn't be out of the question to have all 3.

Tie it in with an Earnhardt theme and call it the Intimidator and watch the lines form.
