I know wikicode like the back of my hand. I would be more than happy to help out. We should have a wiki.carowindsconnection.com. Aren't there free wiki portals out there?

I could set up a wiki really easily. In fact I've toyed around with the idea a number of times in the past.

What's with the new notification that won't let you post if someone has posted a new comment in a thread in between the time you hit 'reply' and 'submit'?

I dunna like that.

It will let you post, you just have to hit submit again. It is there so that you can amend your post if necessary. A lot of times people are replying to the post above theirs, and when a new post is made in between that one and theirs, it messes things up.

Really, cause it won't let me post? I just noticed it last nite and I kept hitting submit and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't submit. I did it at least 5 times before I saw the message, and then thought "Hmmm...The logical thing would be to program it so that after someone sees the message, they'll hit submit and post anywho". But it didn't.

Did the same thing for me today. Maybe it's because of Chrome, or my PC, but I couldn't post after that.

I honestly have no idea. That's bizarre. I just tested it out and it works fine for me. The only thing I can figure is that it must be Chrome.

Haven't had that issue with Firefox. I get the message that there's been a post since I started to compose mine, hit submit, posts fine.

I kinda like it. Sometimes some of the people faster on the uptake than me answer the question as I'm typing, and there's no need for me to post my response.

edit: Saw Jon's test post above as I hit submit for this message, hit submit again, and the message posted fine. It might cause issues on a busy thread if different people keep posting, though.

I wouldnt mind having the old site back either, I have thought about starting a fan site for carowinds as well.... I think the way the site was before may help clean up the forums. If there is a section for pictures and all that kind of content, that would keep the boards clean and probaly help load time etc. Just a thought. I would be willing to help out with a website if this ever happend... :D

Should you want to bring back the main site, may I offer my web design experience? I've got experience with HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL and syncing them to work properly. I *used* to have a site to showoff my abilites, but due to the lack of funding it doesn't exist anymore.

Anyways, I've done some work for another amusement park fan site, so I've got some pretty bright ideas.

Let me know what you think.

I know this might sound stupid but I got to ask...

What does that flame near the Topic's picture mean?
