General Carowinds discussion

I loved Anthony's professionalism and enthusiasm at the event on Friday. Anthony made my day when he was singing "The Lion King" theme song from the movie while we were in line waiting to ride. I enjoyed the trivia he was giving out during our ride too. I give praise to him and I expect to see him in the fall when I make my way from VA to the park for Scarowinds.

You are a great asset to the park, and I enjoyed your sense of humor during the ERT. Thank you so much for taking the time to fulfill our request to have you at our ERT and I will see you around on my next visit to Carowinds in the near future.

Ssssush, Brian,
Don't tell anyone. I don't really like the job. I only work there for the free meals by managment.

*GASP* And I thought that you just enjoyed working under/with me last year... Im so hurt now.

(Pssst... I did like it last year, but I've been ruined by all the free food.)
Now you've got me thinking. Who are you GriffonBoy??? My ride had more supervisor tunovers towards the end of last year than Aunt Jamima had flipped pancakes. Who are you, pray tell???

You'd be awesome on the Jaws ride. "Welcome aboard Captain Jake's Amity Boat Tours, THE BEST!!! (and only) scenic cruise on the island!" Yes, you do have to memorize the script at the spieling atrractions (Kong RIP, Quake and Jaws) but you don't get fired if you mess up a word. It does count off on you if you're getting an evaluation, but you won't get fired. Unless you cuss out someone or something completely wrong like that. Plus there's plenty of time to improv, like when you come around the corner and Bridge Kong's head (or nipple) has fallen off. Yes, that actually happened. And I don't even want to *THINK* about how may times the shark fails to make an appearance in the Jaws lagoon.

I worked there from 97 - 02, and had a BLAST!!! You work at the same ride every day, so your co-workers become like family (at least they were at Quake). Plus, where else would I get paid overtime money (about $25/hr) to stand on stilts and watch the B-52's play a concert?!?! :)

W O W!!!
