Just a FYI, that is Lance's personal top 10 coaster list. He's been to a ton of parks though, so it does say a lot that he considers it to be so good I guess. I've been on 112 coasters, and I consider Top Gun to be my 5th favorite steel.

yeah that's no official list, on the Top 50, Top Gun was 39th, still pretty good. It's my number 5 out of 115.

When it comes to roller coasters, there is no "official" list. A list would only be official if, lets say paramount, published a list of "their favorite coasters" within the ones that they own. That would be the only way a list would be official. Because of that, there is no comprehensive official list.

Yeah, like when they do those Coaster Countdowns on the Discovery Channel and others! They'll have this countdown, but the list wasn't made by coaster groups or enthusiasts, instead a group of executives got stats of cosaters and made the list from that, or worse, they ask random people who've ridden roller coasters at only one park or something. IDK, it's kinda like that.

Alpengeist is a whole lot better than TG!!!

It's all a matter of personal opinion. Having been on both many times, I personally find Top Gun to be far far superior to Alpengeist. Raptor and Top Gun, to me, are well above the other inverteds I've been on, with Alpengeist and Batman: The Ride being on about the same level.

Montu is the best invert ever. I was really happy when I first saw the trackplan of Top Gun, as it is very similar to montu minus the loop after the mid-track brake run.

Yeah it's all personal preferrence. I'm not knocking TG, I just prefer the speed, and height of Alpy over TG's

i can't say what is my fav invert,cause i've only ridden one!
