General Carowinds discussion

This was my 2nd enthusiast event of the year. I drove 5 1/2 hrs from Charlottesville VA, and I have to say that this event was more than I expected. My home park, Kings Dominion, had an enthusiast event with some morning ERT but didn't match up to what I got out of this event.

What I liked:

Everything

What I disliked:

I would have to say that during the scooby doo shootout, some people were having trouble with their guns shooting properly. I would say next year that we do the shootout in the morning before the park opens so that everybody can get a fair shootout and have an employee ride along with each car to make sure that nobody cheats on their numbers cause 2500 or so points during a shootout sounds kinda odd.

I would also say that there be more of a list of activities to do during the gap hours like a scavenger hunt or a ride hunt where you ride certain rides and answer questions pertaining to the ride. When riding the kiddie rides before the award ceremony, I spotted out a lot of cool things it could be the coasterstock gumball rally if you dont know what I am talking about head over to micechat.com and check it out.

The guns are an issue all the time, you never know what your going to get. A little TLC to those and that ride would be much more enjoyable. The most points I've been able to muster was a little over 1700, and that is with my kid sitting next to me. 2500 is some good shootin'!
