Well, It's out. The new 2004 park map. I like it.

As far as Borg is concerned they only show the Sphere and trees.

Also an update on Platinum Passes and the perks for it. Some are cool but the Early Ride Time thing sucks in my opinion. Only on certain days can you enjoy certain rides and of all the times not to have Early Ride Time is on opening day for the Borg but you can go to Animation Station and ride there. lol

Did I miss somrthing or have the Daily tickets come down in price? Only 29.99 web buy for adults?

Wow they really squeezed Borg Assimilator in there; makes it look about the same size as Reptar.

That's probably because Power Station was removed before the beginning of last year . For some reason it was on the map last year but there was just a big concrete pad there.

Probably because the maps were printed before they decided to remove it.

I like the CitiGraph maps the park has had lately. They really make things look exciting.

For all of you Losers who haven't figured it out yet, the new park map in on the park's website. You need Adobe Acrobat to see it.

MY THOUGHTS:

The map still says under TG at the right side of the map that it is the park's signature attraction. They obviously aren't trying to make the BA bigger than it is.

They also don't show flight School on the map-nor the swings. DARN IT!

The B.A. is kinda small and you can't see it well because the skytowers in the way. If that is how the finished themeing will look, then I am wondering who started the rumor with the Discovery channel coming. It looks as though we are getting another ride themed loosely like top gun.

Also, I am surprised that they did not create a new region of the park with the B.A. and the gift shop of restaurant that will go with it. They just included it with the Paramount Plaza. I would think the area would be big enough.

Also, the B.A. has caused carowinds to not be a circle park anymore. If they keep this up, then the park will be a chaotic collection of pathes and rides. The B.A. will really cause Animation station to loose some foot trafic and it really gives you the oppurtunity to go straight from TG to the BA all day long. fun.

This is what they where referring to about the old map that needs to be updated. I am sure they knew to click on the map download to get the 2004 map. But do you really have to coup the attitude by calling them losers though? It makes you look rather foolish.

The park is still a circle. It now just has a path through the middle. Also, I wouldn't use a park map as a reference to how things really will be when it's open. I'm not quite sure about how much theming this ride will have, but I am not making a conclusion based on the park map. I was also hoping for a gift shop... maybe later in the year?
