I still say carolina blue track with dark navy blue supports! Maybe a yellow or red train. With the dark colors in witch the ride is paited now it just seems almost non noticeable

AND a little something,something to make it even better coaster is at the helix at the end of the ride they should add a roof and make it as a dark tunnel,with a few lights in there!yeahhh.And the color i dont know as long as it looks good!

Yeah, the roof on the tunnel was awesome, but paramount removed the roof to the cyclone tunnel along with the one on goldrusher for obvious bee problems. Some quick inspections and spray can take care of that in the morning and evening. The goldrusher enclosed tunnel use to be longer, but paramount shortened the tunnel when they did some work around the brake shed of the ride.

I believe CF will re-do many of the "special" affects to these rides in the coming years. Adding back the dark tunnels, lights, sounds, and mist/fog, is a cheap way to enhance the feel and experience of a ride.

How long has it been off? I forgot about it to tell you the truth. "Could" have been turned off last year during the drought to save water(I know, it isn't much, but still). Maybe they just forgot about it?? I mean, they have misters blowing now when they have no crowds around them, they should cut the mist back on Afterburn.

I believe a spruce up of the current colors is what is going to happen. However, I hope they don't do what they did with Cobra and borrow paint from the Nick Central and Water Park closet again. I'm not a huge fan of the colors they used.

well what ever it is i say also get new trains. they should get trains like cobras, i think the more comfertable trains will make the ride so much better. the one thing i hate about the ride is my head banging against the harnest thing. they should have cobras trains on cyclone lol

I second this. When I heard about the new trains for Cobra last year, I immediately thought that they should order a set of two for the Cyclone. Would be excellent for it's 30th anniversary.

I think Cyclone's presence adds a lot of visual interest and some excitement to that area, so yes, painting it a snazzy new color would be great. But as for the ride--I find the head banging to be unpleasant to the point that I don't care to ride it ever again. If new trains and/or restraints would help, then I really hope they do that.
