Remember back when Carowinds opened how much water there was around? I never paid it much attention untill I visited Ken R's site again. Also there are other pics floating around from time to time on the net. Man, we had alot of water back then.

Yea. Use to the park's lagoon extended from just behind Animation Station out back to Thunder Road, but when FFS was built they drained the water around Goldrusher and Water Works.

There were some beautiful fountains out that way next to Black Beard's Revenge, but I think they moved them over next to Animation Station when that part of the water system got filled in.
It seems their going to be filling in quite a bit of the waterways for the Borg *** as well. Now the only large body of water left will be the Frenzoid pond.

On sattilites Carowinds looked like a big swamp.
