General Carowinds discussion

Okay. This is my first thread. Wish me luck...

This thread is not for discussing the 2010 coaster. It is for building it. I posted my design in the official thread, but it was in the midst of track arrival, so it was overlooked. Anyone who feels so moved can give a link to their idea of what the 2010 coaster should be (in any roller coaster program. I used RCT3, cuz that's what I have) or comment on them. (I know that mine's not too realistic, the G's are enough to kill people, but it looks keen)

Enjoy.

Note: To whoever came up with the "Red Lightning" theme, I used that for the color scheme. Kudos!

I have RCT3, so I'll DL your coaster and take a look tonight when I get home. I have a few of my own I'll share here as well...

Sure! I'll try to get some up tonight, but it might have to wait until tomorrow. I'll do a video too.

The only thing, someone needs to tell me how to add them. I have no idea how to do that.

You'll have to upload your screen shots to a photo hosting website. I use photobucket, but there are several out there. Once you've done that, the website will give you the address of your photo. Photobucket will actually give you the img code that you copy and paste directly into your reply.

Or you can upload it as an attachment directly to this site. When you go to make a post there should be a little tab that says 'Upload Attachment.'

From there just pick the file on your computer and click add the file.

Click 'Place inline' to put it in the message like so:

Then just Submit your post.

Voilà!

Completely unreal, I know. I prefer the coaster building of NoLimits, but the theming of RCT. Somebody needs to combine the two already. "Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 - No Limits"

I'll try to have the video up by tonight. Sorry, but I have dial-up and have to go to the library. I'll put some screenshots up, too. Thanks for all the help!

Nice work! I hope the helix turns out that way... Would be pretty cool!

Here are a few shots that I posted in the old thread. Figured I might as well post them in the actual RCT3 thread.

There is no themeing or buildings (maybe later), this is simply my idea of the coaster...
