I think this is the way the site should look. You don't want to go too deep into a website because you don't have time, but you built the website around the forum. Nice job. Feels good. If you do end up doing a Wiki, it would work better with this type of site.

And I suck at photoshop, how in that do you take a coaster pic and make it a totally black silhouette like you did for AfterGun? I want to be able to do that .

I don't think the site looks bad. A lot of information on the welcome screen that you don't have to search multiple places for. I am just not fond of "red"

An RSS feed seems like something that could be feasible. I'll add it on the master list of things to gradually work through.

For the silhouette I just cut out the coaster part from the rest of the image in Photoshop then used one of the artistic effects, but I honestly cannot remember which one.

RSS would see all the "invertions" "breaks" and "beems" on these boards lately and explode.

To anyone who is unsatisfied with the new style:

You now have the option of using the previous style or the default phpBB style. In your Control Panel click 'Board Preferences'.

Keep in mind that those two styles are NOT officially supported, so I can't promise that all features will work, but having just taken a look at them, it appears that you can use the boards just fine with them if you want.

When I click on the view first newest post button next to a thread, if the thread has multiple new pages it will only take me to the first post on the last page. I then have to click back through the thread to find the first newest post. Is there a fix to take me to the first post regardless of which page it is on?

It's always been like that, even before the switch to the new theme.

If that's the case there might not be anything I can do about it; just the way phpbb works. I actually wasn't even aware that button existed until it was just mentioned. I'll still look into it, though. Just to let everyone know, I haven't forgotten about everything, but have just taken some time off from working on the site. I still have a list of things to look into that people have mentioned and requested.

I use that button every time I log on to the site. It's great for most threads that don't have new posts covering multiple pages. I guess it wasn't too bad before the buzz over the new coaster because there really wasn't a whole lot of posts made in such a short time.

The image size thing is fixed. Now images that are too large will be displayed smaller and there will be a small green square you can click in the top left hand corner to bring up the large version. Then, click anywhere on the image to close it.

Example:
