Absolutely with you on that. I thought about posting it myself, in fact. That is probably my favorite of the modern flat rides. All the crazy spinning ones make me sick, but those are just ridiculously fun.

I keep seeing 'requests' for a Huss Giant Frisbee.. these are not the only ones of their kind folks. The Giant Frisbee has a fair amount of downtime, and to be honest isn't as 'intense' as some of the smaller variations of the Frisbee.

We have the Moser Sidewinder...

Technical Park Typhoon...

Intamin Gyro Swing...

Zamperla Discovery 30

If you want to go Giant, Intamin makes a large Gyro Swing..

Zamperla also has a Giant Discovery..

I would rather have any of these than a Huss Giant Frisbee, Mondial Revolution (see: Psyclone at Canada's Wonderland) or even the best run Chance-Morgan Revolution. I loathe the Chance-Morgan Revolution. Image

This has been your daily flat ride education post. Perhaps I will do more in the future...

FWIW I like the S&S Swings I just wish they were 2-3 swings longer. I've been on 4 of varying shapes and sizes and they all stop at the moment right before it would get really good. The good thing is most are capacity monsters so you can just get back in line and get on the next cycle. :D

^ Thanks for the education, J! I am all about the typhoon's station. That looks intense. I guess they can do that with any of these variations.

I know they have never made a ride like this but wouldn't it be crazy if they had a stand up drop tower?

You mean like Acrophobia at Six Flags Over Georgia? Or Apocalypse at Drayton Manor? Or Hurakan Condor at Port Aventura or....

Stand Up/Floorless as well as Stand Up with Floor drop towers have been done. I prefer floorless myself. :)

I would personally like to see Drop Zone get 150ft added on to it also maybe a topspin with water effects and especially a Delirium/Maxair or even the giant swings like Cedar Point has. Clearly Cyclone and Afterburn can use a paint job; I believe Cyclone has already accepted its date for that. All the sections just can use some new flat rides seriously. Drop Zone is my main issue though; its not thrilling to me anymore because I've ridden taller towers.
