Hi all,
Finally Carowinds will be running with the big boys
Just wondering if there will be a charity auction or contest to be among the first riders
on opening day next year?
anyone find out post it please!

Im sure they will have one but it will be closer to the opening date.

Last year, they auctioned off the first seats on Carolina Cobra and donated the money to the Make-a-wish foundation. I think that's a great cause and if they auction the seats off this year I hope they donate it to them again The Make-A-Wish Foundation is one of my favorite charities =)

I have done a number of these also. I would think the cheapest seats would go for atleast 200 bucks. I would say that the first choice seats might hit atleast a grand plus. I think the most I ever paid was 250ish for Led Zep.

I dont get it...what do you mean drive up the cost. The min bid is 50.00 it doesnt matter how long you wait to bid...this isnt ebay. if they only get 96 bids and you bid 50.00 then you still get to ride if you bid today or the last day...

In fact, your odds of getting a seat at a lower cost are better by bidding now instead of waiting and risking all 96 seats being bid on before you do.

Even more reason to bid. Thats why I bid my max right now and if its for me then its for me...on second thought, mountian3307 wait to bid lol. Thats a good strategy you have there!
