I've always thought about this, but in <a href='http://members.aol.com/k9660r/aeriala.JPG' target='_blank'>this</a> phtoto of the Powder Keg Flume in 1973, if you look just past the first drop, the flume track actually rises back up after the drop in a Roller Coaster-like dip. (No, it is not the camera angle-that entire section is straight track)
Does anybody know when this element was removed? Did boats ever get stuck in it? Did it add to the ride much?
I know there are a few other log flumes out there that feature similar dips and hills, but I thought it was neat that our log flume had one.
