With most of the rides having a Nick TV Show name such Dora The Explore, Fair Odd Parents, Hey Arnold Taxi Jam, Rugrats, Run away reptar...etc. How are they going to theme each ride with Snoopy? I mean, When they did Nick, There's tons of tv shows from Nick which allow that to workm but with just one Tv Show. How are they going to theme it? I really don't want to see Snoopy this, Snoopy that...Thats just my opinion. So does anyone have any idea's on what the new names for the ride could be?

im not a mod but there is a new nick area theme thread not too far from this thread but to answer your question. Yes its one show but with MULTIPLE characters who all have different personalities so they have plenty of material to go off of

I, too, find it hard to believe that they want to rename everything to a Peanuts character theme. The Sporticopters, the Dora Train Adventure, Runaway Reptar, the Flying Dutchman. Nick did have more... closely connected tie ins to the rides. But hey, I love Peanuts. Hopefully the Great Pumpkin can be utilized in the future for Halloween.

Does anyone know if the Scooby Doo license is up?? Kings Island says Planet Snoopy is taking over Nick and Scooby. Does this mean that the Scooby Doo Dark Ride wll close or be rethemed?

You may want to include Scooby-Doo's Haunted Mansion, KI may have confirmed retheming of Scooby-Doo and the Haunted Castle. Apparently Screamscape caught Snoopy under KI's event page, but it is now gone as far as I can see.

I don't know when it is up, but I do know that the license for the dark ride was negotiated separately from the license for the rest of the kiddie area. I am sure Sally Corp would be more than happy to come in and re-theme the rides for many $$. Or maybe CF could do it themselves, since Disaster Transport was such a "success".

I wonder if Rocket Power Air Time will become something Snoopy. Before Nick it was just a flat ride with a generic name. I kinda hope to see it go back to that and not be included in Planet Snoopy. Giving it a nice new name like Frenzoid got when it was put back into the park as Southern Star.

Yeah, I was kind of thinking that with the Intimidator coming, that Air Time and Runaway Reptar would both become part of the front are of the park and no longer be considered part of Planet Snoopy. It looks like there will be some room for future additions in front of intimidator too.

I agree about the discussion of Rocket Power. The ride should be rethemed back to, (The Gauntlet), or they can name it something simple like (Airtime) Even if they make it apart of Planet Snoopy, they could keep the same name.
However, They should theme Runaway Reptar to Planet Snoopy.

Hopefully, that vacant spot in front of intimidator could be used for a flat ride or something in the future.

As far as Planet Snoopy is concerned, I hope they do a great job with the retheming of the rides. Especially with rides like TV Road Trip, and (Dora's Train>>>>>>(which is in need of more landscaping.)
Along with this Planet Snoopy retheme, they should add a kiddie drop tower ride for the kids. (It just seems to be a common likeable ride in a kid's area.

But regardless, 2010 look's like it's gonna be and excellent year. New Coaster/ New Rethemed Kids Area/ New 3d ride, and I'm sure there will be new shows(hopefully). So I think a Season Pass is worth getting. Can't wait for 2010. :D

Not sure if this has been there in previous descriptions when it was Danny Phantom's Flyers, but I like this line for Woodstock Gliders:

The intensity of your experience is determined by your skill in piloting.

And how!

I still say Reptar should have been Woodstock Express, but Flying Ace Aerial Chase is starting to sound good. Snoopy's GR8 SK8, I thought we were getting a new ride at first until I read the 33 feet per second part. Gaunlet takes the award for wierdest name!
