I took both polls, but I didn't save anything. I did it the easy way with the helper. The only way I can keep everything straight is to go back and look at last year's poll and add anything new. That way everything stays in the correct order and I don't miss any of my previous coasters.

Hmmmm, Ghettowinds?

I wonder if it's a safe place to visit.
Someone told me of their wild ride "The Crack House."

Results are out, Diamondback finished 4th in the steel, while Behemoth, La Ronde Goliath, SFoG Goliath, and Apollo's Chariot finished in an interesting cluster from 13-16. Afterburn finished well at 35, but our 2nd ranked steel coaster was Nighthawk at 222nd. . Hopefully next year Intimidator can fight its way into the top 10 and I would bet on Afterburn getting a bump from all the newbies making their first visit to Carowinds.

In the wood ballot, Thunder Road finished 108th, while Hurler placed 128th. What really shocked me was Prowler at 6. I didn't get to ride it this year, but hopefully Cedar Fair will see fit to put these in a few other parks in the coming years.

When the second place coaster in the steel is a coaster that did not even run in 2009 makes me wonder about just how much pull a certain group has on the rankings. I mean a poll is just a poll and should be looked at that way.
