While I agree it is wishful thinking...if you look at the statistics though, carowinds has the highest coaster per flat ride ratio. The park is seriously lacking the "new" innovative flat rides that parks like Dollywood, Kings Island, Kings Dominion, and heck even Cedar Point are offering their guests. And one thing I DO NOT like about the layout of the park is the fact that almost all of the flat rides are in Planet Snoopy. I am a roller coaster nut but still there are adults out there who Carowinds is not tailoring to because these people won't ride a roller coaster for whatever reason, but they'll ride something like a Tilt-a-whirl or even something like The Crypt at KD.

Something tells me that while Carowinds is making the biggest investment ever in its 37 year history (and yes all the stuff going on with CP and Apollo may/may not help)....I wouldn't be hard pressed to find that we'll get some "new" flats very VERY soon.

All you have to do is go to the ride warriors website. They list all of the CF parks stating the number of coasters and the number of rides. All you have to do is simple math.
