Today the park released a new version of their site and I must say I really like it a lot.

One of the things I like is how much the colors seem to pop off the screen.

I also love (for the most part) seeing Carowinds coasters and not some generic coaster or a certain former Top Gun that we've all talked about until we are blue in the face. I think the Hurler pic is not our coaster, that's the only one I've spotted so far.

Anyway, Carowinds good job I love the new site!

I'm digging the Carowinds March and the Carowinds Theme Song. I has a certain 70's brady bunch feel to it!

Isn't the Hurler picture actually Thunder Road?

The liscense might run out later than the Nick Central stuff did.

I've seen that film at non-Parmount/Cedar Fair parks though so it's not exclusive.

All I have to say its about time. I've always thought Cedar Fair had the best park websites and have been wondering for a while when the new parks would start to make the crossover. The Paramount sites were always terrible.

Strangely, only Carowinds has a new site, Kings Dominion, Kings Island, Great America, Canada's Wonderland still have the old site.

EDIT:

I am really enjoying the "all the details" feature on each ride page. The Gliders even have a bit about its history in Ohio.

FWIW, Nighthawk or Peanuts Pirates have no mention of their histories.

Looking at the track, it does look as it's taken at the turn-around on Thunder Road. You can see the other track turning to the right. (If you click on the picture/ride name to open up it's details, y'all will see what I mean).

Swiper must be hiding in that creepy tree.

Apparantly Spongebob has been replaced by that new Wolfman movie! That should keep the kiddies happy!

The site also states that Carolina Cobra has a 125 foot lift height whereas Vekoma's web site lists boomerangs at 116.5. Maybe Intimidator isn't really 232 feet tall either. lol
