Do you think she would have been smiling if she thought she'd end up a poster girl for the Carolina Goldrusher?

Southern Star is suppose to be rated 4 according to my 2009 map and guide..LOL! ( I also remember it being rated a 4 at the entrance as well)
The new website looks great although they need to correct some things.
Carowinds please fix the problem's when you get the chance..thanks.
LOL.........The Thrill Rides section is funny as well. You have to pay for half of the thrills...so sad.

The webesite had it listed as that at least all of last season as well. The "Scrambler" is so common for the ride to be named elsewhere. I want the original name myself, but alas I don't own the park so I guess I'll just have to deal with it....lol

Re: Sponge Bob in the F/X Theater, that movie can be used at any park willing to pay for it. It wasn't a paramount exclusive. Maybe when it first came out, but I've seen it in other places. Totally separate from the Nick licensing.

The map isn't the only out of date thing on the site!

Taken from the Afterburn history section:
Introduced to the park in 1999 at a cost of more than $10 million, Afterburn was the largest investment in park history at that time. Today, as the park’s tallest and fastest rollercoaster, Afterburn ranks as one of the top 30 steel coasters in the world!
On the other hand, I didn't know that it is one of the top 30 steel coasters in the world. I like the new site!

Edit: Whoops, sorry PreferParamount. You already wrote that. Ah well, you didn't say that it was in the top 30, so I'll keep it posted.

Hey guys, we are in a recession. They couldn't afford to hire anyone to be a proof reader. So they did the next best thing, put it out there and let you guys find mistakes for FREE! LOL Brilliant!!

i was looking at the stats for intimidator on carowinds.com and see that the trains have 83 cars.
with three trains wait times should be very minimal.

83 "cars" seems very strange to me.

4 people per car.
8 cars per train.
32 people per train.
3 trains.
24 total cars.
96 total people.

I honestly have no idea what they are considering a 'car', but every B&M Hyper I have ever been on (read: most of them 8) ) has had amazing capacity. Throughput will certainly not be an issue.
