I found out that the retracking taking place on TR is actually just the dismantling of the return legs on each side. The wood is being used to build a second station at the far end of the ride so that it can be converted to an old “switchback” style coaster with a break-man riding each car and everything! This is part of Carowinds plan to expand on the “Carolina Coney” section of the park they added for the 2004 season!

NO! NO! NO! You guys have it all wrong! They are taking out the lift and adding a LIM launch and 11 consecutive loops (A new world record!). SOB was only the prototype! The max G-Force will be 21.856312 and carowinds will award the first person to go through the ride without blacking out with a free Season Pass for their entire life!
