Since you guys like polls I figured i'd throw this one out. I guess everything is self explainatory so pick your choices and explain why you picked it and how you would execute it!

But jay, with all the structural engineers ans vetran park consultants who post on here I'm sure they can find a way to make anything fit!

I personally chose a sit down resturant. Everything moves so fast in parks now-a-day. Its time to sit and relax!

I would choose both a sit down restaurant & Xtreme Flat ride to occupy the space. It's a pretty big field so I believe both attractions will fit.
The flat ride i would choose is an S&S Screaming Swing 32.
The restaurant I would like to see is a TGIF or some sort of Steakhouse..LOL

What's this? A poll someone actually put some thought into? Here you go, Jarvis.

Sit-down restaurant - As much as I would enjoy this sort of thing, I don't think the park is ready for this yet. This ain't Epcot.

Family flats/jr.coaster - The kids have enough toys already. The families have enough flats already.

Show building - For such an open area, I can't see plopping an enclosed building here to block the view of Intimidator. Although I would like a dark ride.

Dark ride - You don't know the POWER of the dark ride!

Stores - If you can squeeze all the t-shirts into one convenient space for me, sure!

Splashbattle style ride - Seems the park is getting away from water rides. But there is a nice little drain over there to take advantage of, the one we've been staring at for months.

Flower/water garden - As an old fart, this appeals to me, but not in this location. Staging a tranquil sitting area next to the park's most extreme element (232 feet of screaming) doesn't seem like a good idea. For that matter, having a little choo-choo right next to Intimidator doesn't make much sense either, but granted, it's a geography thing. Plant the garden in a more serene section of the park like, say, the Thrill Zone.

Extreme flat ride - Seems to me it's pretty obvious that this space reserved for "future attractions" is destined to host this. It's what most of us want, after all. Something else to balance out the lines in this area, and I might get around to riding Nighthawk again.

Other- More games! NO! Just kidding.

Nothing all together! - Since there are no more exciting annoncements pending, aside from sprinklers, I guess that's what we'll get this season, along with what's sure to be a year's worth of speculation for 2011. Yay.

I'd like to see something new to theme parks.
A live-show place, but also food served - dinner theater style.
If you build it, they will come...

Thats cool...kinda like what busch gardens does with Das Festhaus in va! Phantom we're gonna have to take you around to other parks!

I doubt we see anything permanent there for a year or so. Shoot the Rapids at CP is probably a pilot for additions, perhaps smaller in scope, at sister parks like ours and VF that no longer have the log rides. Naturally, a splash battle of some kind could go in there. It CF is out of money and Apollo gets in the mix somehow, who knows. For price, a Chance Morgan Revolution-32, like those at DP and KBF would go nicely and yes, that S & S Screamin' Swing would fit nicely as well - oh to have one of those here! Seems many of the CF parks have a Huss Top Spin, not my personal comfortable favorite... a Huss Giant Frisbee would be my personal top pick, but after Intimidator I bet we have a long wait on our hands...

Thanks for saying so. I think it's a great idea as well.

About taking me to other parks...I'm not ready yet.
Right now I'm in love with Universal and Islands of Adventure. I can't get enough.

Your Pic:
Last year you posted a pic at Carowinds of your model at the restaurant in front of The Hurler. The shot was taken looking up at the model and the old cars. It was dynamic. Have you entered that shot in a photo competition? You certainly should.
