How much time have they put in on the ride operations, if any, and what do they think of it?
I was just wondering if they have been working the ride from loading to unloading and if they have had any trials on getting people of the ride in case of an emergency?

I guess it would be a honor to operate the Borg! I would like to do that some day.

I have noticed when driving on 485 that the skytower has really bright lights on it. Are they doing work on it during the night and use those lights to see? Or for testing, like was said?

I guess for testing or repainting it! When I used to camp out at the campground the Top of the tower had a light on the flag.

Not repaint just touching up.

They had all the lights on in the park last night (Friday), the park looked really nice. Today the coasters were running, I sat for about an hour and watched. It looks like Borg's load time is about twice as long as Top Gun's from what I saw.

Although BORG is testing some during the day (Jonathan's site has a pic of the train on the first hill to prove that), I did confirm that the majority of the runs are after 6pm. Don't really know why the park is doing this. Although, today (3-14) BORG was testing constantly all day long.

I'm hoping this ride has good fortune of running smooth and well now that it's at a new home (a better one at that).

Does anyone know if there is like a set number of safe runs a coaster must run before they can open it? I know it's not regulated by the states, I was just curious if there was an industry standard. Like it has to run 100 times without a hitch or something like that.

I do know that the inspectors were out examing the ride as of yesterday. Some people (and I'm not calling any names...you know who you are) had hoped to ride it today. I haven't heard if they got to or not. I'm interested in hearing his take on the ride.
