I don't think they will allow anyone on I-77 due to the danger. In fact, its against the law for a pedestrian to be there.
That being said, I saw a group of inmates on I-77 N south of 160 this morning. I don't know if they plan on doing the whole thing, or of its just an occasional "keep them busy" thing without a real goal in site (i.e. doing the whole thing to the border)

Its nothing wrong to voice your concerns but if you aren't even doing anything about it you're just might as well not say anything about it. I mean call the scdot and ask how can you get a clean up crew together of you and some friends, get the news outlets involved. No, better yet FIND OUT WHY ITS TRASHED before complaining about a situation when you don't really know what's going on and assuming you know why. Cause to be quite honest, complaining about it on a roller coaster website, I'm sure the people who needs to see it won't see it!
