I'm sorry about that. Remember my PM, telling you I had an overnight trip? My mom had to go to the hospital. I spent the night with her there. I certainly sympathize with you right now. You take care of yourself. Let me know if you still want to see a movie at a later time - to pick you up and give you some laughter, OK?

That was very nice of you to tell lanigan911 that!

Welcome back. I missed you. Sunday the 14th at 4:15 sounds fine. Now it's official.
I'm getting ready to post it for all who care to join us.
Don't forget to PM me your code or real name so no one can steal your prize by telling me they are you.

Now it's official...

Join us for the Alice in Wonderland mad, movie meet-up in 3D.

When: Sunday, March 14, 2010

Where: AMC @ Carolina Pavilion on South Boulevard at I-485.

Meeting Time: We'll gather at AMC on the right side (facing the building) at 3:45 PM after we've purchased our tickets and 3D glasses. At 3:55 PM "sharp" we'll enter the building as a group for nature calls and concessions. From there we'll enter the theater, sit together and take our trip with Alice to Wonderland at the 4:15 PM showing.

Let's have some fun together but remember: We are adults, let's prove it.

I'm sending this giant THANK YOU! out to everyone who participated in this free movie-ticket trivia, and 3D movie meet-up yesterday. It was nice meeting and talking with you. We have got to do this again soon.

Johnny Depp made up as The Mad Hatter favors Elijah Wood, whom I thought he was during earlier movie promos.

I had no idea that Alice in Wonderland would be so violent. I didn’t have a problem with it, it just surprised me. When the Mad Hatter and Mad Hare threw things with their great precision, they intended to hit their target. Alice could have been laid flat a few times if she had not been paying attention. Poor girl, not everyone was her friend in that mad, bazaar world.

The film opens with a frustrated Alice as a child, then older as her problems only mount. By the end the story a new Alice emerges and the story pulls together with a great message of "take control of your own life and come out from under the minds of others." I enjoyed this creative work of Alice revisiting Wonderland. It stimulated our minds and our 3D senses.

The new 3D remake of Clash of the Titans is coming soon.
This time, I promise you, the special effects won't be done with claymation.
Anyone interested in another movie meet-up?
