Thanks for saying so. I think it's a great idea as well.

About taking me to other parks...I'm not ready yet.
Right now I'm in love with Universal and Islands of Adventure. I can't get enough.

Your Pic:
Last year you posted a pic at Carowinds of your model at the restaurant in front of The Hurler. The shot was taken looking up at the model and the old cars. It was dynamic. Have you entered that shot in a photo competition? You certainly should.

Universal is just a flawless park. Im thinking about moving to Orlando and that is part of my decision. I miss that placeee!

^i don't think I would go as far as calling universal flawless lol. Just like carowinds, if you ask someone who has been going to the park since the beginning they will have an ear full of gripes to share...

Thanks for the kind words. I remember that picture, its one of my favs but there's another I have with the blue car. Its all black and white with the red of the train and building border and blue of the car in color. I have some of my photography here:

I couldn't agree with you more about Universal. The next time I go I want to stay on the grounds. Disney loves to try and lock people into their world. I prefer to be locked in at Universal.

Jarvis
I have just experienced greatness, and some PhotoShop in the mix.
Is the model, Sean your friend? He really knows how to play with the lens and enjoy it. I still love your Carowinds shot the best. Please place a link to that one.

I know the perfect attraction idea to place in front of Intimedator... an indoor adventure ride like "Spiderman" at Islands of Adventure. But, which adventure would you pick to go along with the thrills of Carowinds' area 1?

I think there are only 2 of these that even exist.. and they are ridiculously expensive and much much larger in scale than the field in question.

Interesting idea though.

I seriously doubt carowinds puts any kind of ride in that area. For one, they installed a sprinkler system, which I doubt they would do just to rip it up later and put in a ride. But anyways, I think they want that pretty much open there, as to not take away from the massiveness of the intimidator. I do expect very nice landscaping in that area, it wont be just a flat patch of grass.

I don't think the sprinkler system is much of an argument. They are going to want grass to grow there and look nice for this summer no matter what. Honestly I think that area is perfect for a flat ride; I will be surprised if something is not added there in the next few years.

I agree here. There are a ton of places that put temporary sprinkler systems in just to make an area grow vegetation quickly to "pretty" the land around a business. I know of several fast food businesses and pharmaceutical companies around my neck of the woods that have done that. They build a new location/building put a sprinkler system in to grow vegetation quickly. Then about 4, 5, 6 months later they take out the sprinkler system to cut down on paying the expensive water bill. And when they pull up the system there is very little land that becomes disturbed. I may not work for Carowinds, but I assure you that land has something planned for it. It's just too obvious and only time will tell for what.

DarKastle was fun but I was a little disappointed that it wasn't as good as I thought it would be. Especially considering its so much newer than Spiderman. But I liked Spiderman better still.

So i photoshopped something that i would think would be cool kind of like adding a small nascar theme area near intimidator and i want i am thinking a huss frisbee by the name of BOOGITY like good old Darrell Waltrip used to say.
