Did anyone else get the feeling they decided to re-paint Cyclone, ran out of blue, then realized they had some extra yellow and orange from the Reptar repaint, and decided to finish it off with that? lol And did anyone notice, there's also a very small white section of track before the corckscrews? It really does make me think they were just using excess paint.

Anyway, great tour, thanks Max and Dani for getting this thing set up! Had fun, got some great pics, got to meet some nice and interesting people!

Great seeing everyone again yesterday!

Intimidator is even more impressive up close. There are going to be lots of spots for good photos, with some really nice ones in Nick...er, Planet Snoopy.

Speaking of Planet Snoopy, Dani told us that the parks were definitely concerned about the recognition factor among today's kids with the Peanuts characters and the loss of the Nickelodeon characters. KI had been going into their area schools and seeing if the kids knew who the Peanuts characters were, and most kids did know who Snoopy and pals were. Also it didn't sound like they were getting as much negative reaction from the parents whose kids would miss seeing Spongebob and Dora.

Good idea on the shirt for Dani, Jarvis! Too bad you weren't able to obtain a Patrick or Dora costume since they had to send that stuff back to Nick.

Yea I saw the white paint, wonder if it was just a primer and they just werent done yet.... oh well It will look pretty decent when its done. I just wish they would have did something with the trains as welll...

I am reserving judgment until I see this with my own eyes. As of right now the colors are....bright, to say the least. I think the transition from color to color needs to be worked out. Based on the pictures, I do have to honestly say this was a last ditch effort (using what seems to be paint that was used else where in the park) to add something to the park for 2010 and kinda celebrate its 30th birthday. However, I know pictures really can't do any quality to what it looks like in person. So therefore, when I see it then I will know whether or not I will like the new colors at all. I agree, they need to repaint the trains because now it just looks tacky with the color scheme on the trains versus the track. Also they need to repaint the signage.

As far as the white paint....it has to be primer. Don't forget Dani can be quoted saying that the ride was sand blasted revealing all the original coats of paint. If you sand blast something, you kinda need to primer it as well.....just sayin.
