Maybe at its peak it gets close to 2 hours opening day, but I'm thinking more like an hour.

I hope you're right. This is what i'm worried about though:

No offense, but I can't believe anybody would stand in line 3+ hours to ride a roller coaster. The max for me is 2 hours. Any wait longer is just not worth it in my opinion.

That line is pretty freakin unbelievable!
However, I do understand entirely. If you're soon moving away from the park location or if you've traveled in from out of state with the goal to experience a certain ride, you're pretty determine that you're going to get on it.

I just wish this patience would carry over more to less dramatic things in life. We "stand" 2 to 3 hours in a slow moving line for a coaster, but fall to pieces "sitting" in our cars when someone takes a second too long to get out of our way.

So, where's the problem??

Or (this is my personal favorite) how we can stand in a 2-3 maybe 5 hour line for a brand new roller coaster but we can't sit and wait 25 minutes at a restaurant for our order to be cooked to order. And then we take it out on the server for being "slow" with our food.  Where is the logic in that one?

I agree, well said!
How about we wait in lines for rides,in 90 degree weather for as long as it takes, but if the air conditioned wait at the post office is 10 minutes people start complaining or will even leave, "I ain't standing in the long line."
Why are we so backwards and unkind sometimes?
It just goes to show, we do what we really want to do. We focus on what we really want.
