Jarvis is still looking good for the first train. It looks like a number of people are going to snag seats on this and the free tix for less than 2 daily admission tix, unless there's people waiting to the last minute to "snipe" ala Ebay.

My strategy was to be in the top 24 to get either a front seat or back seat. By the time the bid ended looks like I was number 10 or 11. I'm not actually gonna ride, I'm giving a friend who hasn't had a chance to go to a park in a while the chance to get the crap scared outta them (like I did to my bother on nitro lol). So I wanted to insure they will get a back seat ride on the first train, so they won't have the other trains riders reaction to wimp out.

how can i tell if i won? i went back to the page but it but just says

"Thank you to everyone that has placed a bid for the Carowinds First Rider Charity Auction!

Sorry, we are not currently taking bids. Please try back later."

what was the total number of bids? i bid $60.02, was this enough to get a seat?

that's what i figured, but ya never know. i already emailed a rep from carowinds asking about this, he said the winners should receive emails this afternoon. i have no idea why there isn't a final page with all the final/winning bids listed.

THere were a few of us right there.. I noticed a slight flurry around 1130, but shut the computer off... I wasnt getting into a "ebay" bid war.... I guess we'll find out later.. It is what it is... 8)

C'mon guys. Emailing reps, and refreshing your emails won't speed the process. This may sound unconventional but let's just wait it out...
