As my wife and I plan on going to Carowinds tomorrow (if the rain isnt bad) I was wondering how long people had to wait in line to ride? Also do they have assign seating?

Short waits today. Since tomorrow is a Sunday, I can't imagine it being any worse than today, probably shorter. It was like 20 minutes this afternoon. Get there soon, because in the coming weeks I suspect the crowds are going to get exponentially bigger.

I had 2 <10 minute waits in the middle of the day. The lines today were a great example of Timmy's ability to nom nom some crowds.

Unfortunately, they do assign seats limiting your choice, but it really keeps the line moving because the crew does an excellent job.

The longest I waited in line was t least 20 minutes. The other times, which was close to closing, was around 5 to 8 minutes long wait.

So say on July 4th could Timmy keep a full park down to only at most an hour wait then? I mean I was checking on the webcam today....which we need a better one btw.....and the line looked like it only got maybe 1/4 filled. And since y'all are saying the wait was only about 20 minutes it makes me wonder how long the wait would be for a full queue line filled with people. I am glad to see everyone is really happy with this ride.

The whole queue filled looks to be around 45 minutes. We waited from the end of the queue for our second ride, and it took about an hour, but there were two breakdowns during that time.

Wow

just wow. :D This is good news. I feared it would be somewhere near the wait time like Borghawk. (Just a little better but I was not expecting it to be this fast.)

nope. They would check to see if it was open but most of the time you could not pick

Ok, our 3rd time in line it was all of the way out of the gate and wrapped around toward the first gift shop heading toward the front of the park. At that point we waited about 45 minutes and were amazed!

The CREW is great and they all put on a good show for opening day!

The longest i had to wait was probably 1 hour because they kept on having problems..and the shortest was probably 5-10 minutes.

After the initial "rush" first thing this morning, Intimidator was a walk-on. Before 1 o'clock I had a flyer ride, Top Gun ride, and 10 rides on Intimidator. This was with 2-train operation.

The other good thing - once things slowed down, they stopped assigning seats and let you wait where you wanted. I finally got my front and back row rides in.
